Isla Cook Art

Meet Isla Cook, a talented and enterprising sixteen-year-old artist and resident of Boularderie Island.

Isla discovered her passion for drawing at a young age, and in time, worked her way into the world of watercolour and acrylic painting. Isla began selling her work to help fund her hobbies, and to also give back to various causes dear to her within the community.

Isla now primarily enjoys painting landscapes. Her current prints capture scenes of homesteads, fields of Cape Breton, and other idyllic destinations around the island like Pollett’s Cove and Portree.

This spring, your favourites are back like Laundry Day and Portree, but also some new ones like Black Brook Beach, Inverness and the Skyline Trail.
