Rhubarb is a sweet & tart greetings & gifts studio owned & operated by Anita Bezanson & based in Nova Scotia, Canada. Anita lives in the Annapolis Valley where she spends her days designing & spending time with her husband & two sons.
One of Anita's favourite memories of childhood is of walking down a dusty lane near her grandparent's home in rural Nova Scotia, gathering wild blackberries & rhubarb with her grandmother. Her grandma, Millie, was quick-witted & kind & could often be found teasing her children & grandchildren. At the age of 10 Anita lost her best friend when Millie passed away after a painful battle with Cancer.
30 year later, in 2015, RHUBARB PAPER CO. was born, in part due to Anita's lifelong love of stationery, in part to keep the memory of Grandma Millie & her wonderful sense of humour alive.
