Here's a piece of early 1900s apothecary history. A poisonous story!
I made a mold out of an old glass etched apothecary bottle that used to hold sulfuric acid, also known as oil of vitriol - a mineral acid composed of sulfur, oxygen and hydrogen (molecular formula H 2 SO 4). Produced for chemists and used in apothecaries, this bottle would have housed a poisonous liquid.
This is a one-of-a-kind candle that burns so beautifully.
